Whose Idea Was This?!


Yes there are cookies in there somewhere. The girls are really enjoying eating them----minus the whole cookie part.

All that happened in a matter of seconds. They really should make those sprinkle holes a little smaller, doncha think????
I spent the next hour on my hands and knees vacuuming and mopping up 4 MILLION sprinkles. And we had a dozen cookies to sit on our counter for a week untouched and uneaten.
But the girls sure had fun making a mess...as usual...

HAHA! Gotta love it. Yes, it's a big ol' mess at the time, but when they're older it will be fun to look back, right?

Love it!!! Can't wait to make cookies with Landon. He helped me stir some soup in a pot the other day. That is as far as we have gotten! Miss you!

I came, I saw, I conquered! Well, I'm working on the conquering part. We all need to toot our own horns occasionally, so I am going to take a brief moment to do so. I know that whenever I get anything done, it makes me motivated to something else. Do you feel that way too? It's like the momentum takes over and you just start rolling! "Is that....paint?!?"

"Why, yes! Yes, that IS paint!" (A gallon of paint, to be exact. And, yes, that is my car. The driver's seat, actually.) That was my response to the nosey man, with a 6 year old child in tow, who was in line ahead of me at the car detailer. It's as if NO ONE has ever seen a little paint spilled before.... It's just paint people, keep walkin'! :) As you can imagine, I drew a crowd. It all started when I was on my way back to Lowe's (with offending paint can on the floor behind my seat) to buy a few more supplies, including a small tube of blue paint to be used to tint the paint that was currently still in it's can . I only had an hour until the girls got up from their naps and had to relieve my mother-in-law from her kid-watching-post, so I knew I had to be super duper fast. It all started with an all day Christmas Eve cheesy Lifetime movie marathon ( for me ); then once the girls were in bed for the night, I changed into my warm 'star' fleece pj's, curled up with a blanket and enjoyed a glass of (milk-diluted) egg nog complete with whipped cream and nutmeg sprinkled on top.
