Update on my Mother In Law and Etc....

Thanks for all of the well wishes and support and prayers for Tony's mother. She was sent home from the hospital last week and she continues to re-gain her strength every day. We are so blessed to have caught everything so quickly that permanent damages will be very minimal. We've missed having her around for the last few weeks. But we are so glad she is doing so well! (In case you missed the scoop, you can read my previous blog post to find out).

Today we moved Ashleigh and Avery into the same bedroom. Yikes. They were really not happy. They spent the better part of 2 hours crying. No, make that SCREAMING. Avery managed to sleep about 40-45 minutes through Ash's constant protesting. We are pretty sure they called their lawyers. So...we are not their favorite people right now, and I can understand why. Avery has been alone nearly a year so having a new roommate kinda throws a wrench into things. Ashleigh has never liked change, so we knew for sure she would hate it. We just have to wait a few days and hope that it all turns out like we want it--- with sleep being had. Especially by mommy and daddy. :)

Which bring us to---we are sick---again! Dang doctors office! The girls get sick every time we get shots. And this time I got it too. Luckily the worst for me is over. It's pretty much just been a two day-er. So we haven't slept for a while again. The girls HATE being stuffy. They can't eat, they can't sleep--it's just horrible and makes for tired and hungry babies. This makes for really, really, really long days and nights. I think we turned a corner today. So, of course, we had to do something to make things harder. Who would want things to be easy?? Not us...we thrive on challenges!! Ha. That, or we're dumb..... :)

There is going to be a big baby boom over the next few weeks so I want to say good luck to everyone and I'm so excited for you all!! Hope you have quick recoveries and lots of sleep!

Update: Ashleigh and Avery slept through the night together in the same room!!! Yayyyyy! They cried off and on for about 1.5 hours but then after that (and some praying...) they fell asleep! We are ecstatic!

Congrats on the roomates sleeping through the night! Our family is sick too I think it's going around. Sean says everyone in the library is coughing and sneezing. Also it's good to hear that Tony's mom is doing better. Hope you all get better soon!

The sharing a room thing will get better, trust me. When we first moved Brock in with Jake, Brock just wanted to party. But now they sleep great together! I'm glad your MIL is doing well!
