Got Milk??

We do!

Finally!! We are now eating 100% whole milk! YAAAAAYYYYY!

No more formula for us.

Our pocket book is grateful.

I never thought this day would come! Luckily we bought a little fridge for the girls room and it's FULL of just milk for the girls. (well there is a thing of yogurt for tony and some jell-o, but that's it). We wouldn't have room for more than two at a time otherwise. I certainly don't have time to run to the store every other day! We are so excited. We had a little "no more formula party" when we finished the last bit. We did the DANCE OF JOY!! Do it with me now---

Yeah, in a couple of months my formula days will start all over again. It's so dang expensive! Blah. But congrats on moving from that phase! I can only imagine paying for three on formula-yikes! P.S.-Jon Bon Jovi is WAY hotter now than in the 80s!

ROFL yes, the pocket book WILL be elated! I did Formula for Myranda and I thought that was pricey. Can't wait till Liam can do whole milk too... but I still have to wait till August.... sigh. It will get here soon enough I guess. :)

Yeah!!!! whole milk? Can I come over for a drink? Its been a long time since I've had whole milk and I'm sure it tastes like cream...mmmm

Everything seemed a little tightier for me when I made the switch. Formula takes up lots of space! and spills and stinks. I am overjoyed for you... as overjoyed as I can be at the end of pregnancy :) I guess it depends what moment you ask. :)

Yea! so exciting! I can't wait til Kade can just eat whatever we're eating, too. Milk, food, the whole deal. Gotta get over the "food allergy" hump. Knock on wood. It must be so much easier!

"Why, yes! Yes, that IS paint!" (A gallon of paint, to be exact. And, yes, that is my car. The driver's seat, actually.) Veni, Vidi, Vici!

I came, I saw, I conquered! Well, I'm working on the conquering part. We all need to toot our own horns occasionally, so I am going to take a brief moment to do so. I know that whenever I get anything done, it makes me motivated to something else. Do you feel that way too? It's like the momentum takes over and you just start rolling! I usually roll right into a brick wall (i.e. children, etc.) And we, as parents, don't get the praise we should sometimes because it's just expected we do 'stuff'. Well, I have pretty much just made sure no one died in the past 15.5 months and the effects on my house are very evident. I like to be neat and organized. I hate clutter. Well, I've been living in massive amounts of clutter and it's just overwhelming and depressing, but it's not like I'm ignoring it on purpose. I make a small dent and it gets covered up 2 seconds later. Can I tell you how sick I am of filling the toy bin to just have the girls think I did...

It all started with an all day Christmas Eve cheesy Lifetime movie marathon ( for me ); then once the girls were in bed for the night, I changed into my warm 'star' fleece pj's, curled up with a blanket and enjoyed a glass of (milk-diluted) egg nog complete with whipped cream and nutmeg sprinkled on top. Tony and I watched a couple more Christmas movies together and I just looked at him and said "This is the perfect Christmas Eve." I was so content and happy. And it was so good to feel that way.
